RTM Model Airport based on Rotterdam The Hague Airport (Netherlands)
Our set shows Rotterdam The Hague airport. We have reproduced the entire apron of the airport together with the most important buildings of the airport including the entire terminal.
Rotterdam Airport is starting to play an increasingly important role in the Netherlands and the BeNeLux area, due to the capacity reduction at Schipol Airport. Currently, the airport mainly serves leisure flights operated by Transavia but also business routes to other airports in Europe.
The airport layout has 12 C-code Taxi In/Taxi Out stands. The main apron is surrounded by taxiways. Within the diorama, we will find the airport's main terminal with recreated distinctive observation decks and an air traffic control tower. In addition, there is a bus and taxi ramp in front of the terminal and a distinctive entrance building with a sign on the roof. In addition to the main terminal, the main technical building and 1 smaller building next to it have been reproduced.
Some architectural elements of the terminal have been simplified to make the process of assembling the building simple. The kit features a low/medium level of folding difficulty. The entire process of cutting, notching, gluing and folding should take up to 3 hours.
The set includes numerous accessories for self-assembly, including lamps, jet bridges and GSE vehicles.

Size: 105.0 x 59.4 cm (10 A4 boards)
The product is finished with model grass that is permanently glued to the board.
Buildings and other self-assembly accessories are included in the product.
Method of manufacture
The layout is printed on high-quality matt photographic paper, which allows the model aircraft to move around without any problems.
Self-assembly terminals printed on high-quality photo paper for high durability when assembled. Additional markings and special instructions will help to assemble all the elements.
Printed with the layout specially glued to a 2mm thick cardboard base. The thickness of the board with connectors and paper pads is 3 mm.
Protect the product from major temperature changes and avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight.
